Using modern techniques, patients can safely and comfortably undergo elective hand surgery with local anesthesia including: carpal tunnel release, trigger finger release, mass excisions, tendon repairs, scar revisions and other procedures.

Dr. Jesse Kaplan is a board-certified UCI Health Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hand and upper extremity surgery. Kaplan performs his wide-awake surgeries in an outpatient clinic setting, which improves accessibility for patients and providers.
