$8M gift establishes new neurosciences clinic at UCI Health — Irvine
UCI Health has received an $8 million philanthropic gift to establish the J.W. and Sandra Mitchell Neurosciences Clinic at its Irvine medical campus, expanding outpatient neurology and neurosurgical services. The nearly 15,000-square-foot facility will integrate multidisciplinary care, including neurology, neurosurgery, brain imaging, and physical medicine and rehabilitation, supported by 21 exam rooms and dedicated treatment space. In addition to enhancing access to specialized clinical care, the gift will advance collaborative research in movement disorders within the UC Irvine School of Medicine.
