UCI Health proudly celebrated National Latino Physician Day with a special event at its Orange medical campus, followed by the inaugural UC National Latino Physician Consortium at UCI Beall Applied Innovation. The first of this annual summit gathered physicians, researchers, and medical leaders from across the University of California system and Latino health advocacy groups.

The event showcased collaboration around equity-centered care, policy development, and strengthening of the UC Latino physician network through programs such as the UC Irvine School of Medicine Program in Medical Education for the Latino Community (PRIME-LC). It was a powerful reminder of the importance of representation, shared purpose, and community in advancing healthcare for all.
