UCI Health hosted a World IBD Day open house designed to support young adults with inflammatory bowel disease as they transition from pediatric to adult gastroenterology care. The interactive event provided opportunities to meet multidisciplinary care teams, tour clinic facilities and gain familiarity with diagnostic tools and treatment environments. The event was well attended, and participants also received guidance on care coordination, including scheduling, insurance verification and navigating the adult care setting.
