Hao-Hua Wu, MD, founder of the UC Irvine Global Spine Research Initiative (GSRI), and GSRI research fellow Haley Nadone, recently attended the 10th Annual Association of Spine Surgeons of Nepal Himalayan Spine Conference in Kathmandu. Alongside Nepali partners, they presented groundbreaking research on spinal cord injuries, emphasizing the impact of delayed surgical timing and the critical need for expanded spine care access in Nepal.
