UCI Health Maternal-Fetal Medicine expert Carol Major, MD, has been named President-Elect of the Association of Professors of Gynecology and Obstetrics (APGO), an organization that represents academic obstetricians and gynecologists in the United States and Canada.
Major has been serving as President-Elect since September 2023. Her term as president will begin in March and announced at the APGO March Meeting. AGPO offers various teaching and learning tools for physician-educators, faculty and students, with the goal of providing optimum health care for women.
